MN Women's Investment Collective 2026

06 March 2026

Join the women shaping what angel
investing looks like in Minnesota.

The Minnesota Women’s Investment Collective is a highly curated angel investing cohort designed and led by Groove. This is a hands-on experience for women who want to move from curious to confident, connect with peers who take investing seriously, and deploy capital into Minnesota-based startups together.

Since 2022, Groove has led eight emerging angel cohorts, supporting over 110 investors. The Women’s Investment Collective builds on that foundation—with deeper relationships, clearer pathways, and a strong alumni network on the other side.

The 2026 Women’s Investment Collective will run May-July, with dates set in advance, including a mix of in-person and virtual sessions.

How It Works

1.  JOIN THE 2026 WOMEN'S INVESTMENT COLLECTIVE

The 2026 Women’s Investment Collective will be capped at 30 participants. Interest has grown significantly, with a current waitlist of over 100 people, so space is limited.

Each participant commits $5,000, which includes:

•  Participation in the full Women’s Investment Collective experience
•  Capital pooled for collective investment*
•  One year of membership in the Groove Investment Group, included automatically
•  Alumni community of powerhouse women who gather quarterly

2.  THE CIRRICULUM

Sessions are a mix of in-person and virtual to balance flexibility, in-depth training, with relationship-building at the core. Programming includes guest speakers, curated resources, and Groove-led discussions rooted in real deal experience.

In-person:  the Women’s Investment Collective will meet in-person for four times to cover,

•  May 28: Cohort Kickoff + Building the Investment Thesis | 3-6pm
•  June 18: Diligence + Deal Review | 3-6pm
•  July 15: Founder Pitches & Investment Vote | 3-7pm
• July 29: Graduation & Reflections Breakfast | 8:30am - 10:30am

Virtual Training:  the online programming is taught by Seraf and includes four 2-hour sessions, which adds more context and in-depth training to the in-person material and discussions.

•  Introduction to Angel Investing
•  Angel Finance
•  Evaluating Investment Opportunities
•  Term Sheets & Valuations

Each participant will get login information to complete the online courses at their own pace. Additionally, each course will be available to reference throughout the rest of the calendar year.

3.  VETTED INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Groove introduces founders aligned with the Women’s Investment Collective investment thesis. All companies are Minnesota-based. The Women’s Investment Collective decides together where the group should invest. From there, Groove facilitates the investment process utilizing an SPV.

4.  BEYOND THE EXPERIENCE

After the final session, participants are invited into a growing alumni network of women who meet quarterly.

Additionally, graduates automatically continue into Groove’s broader investor community through their included one-year membership in the Groove Investment Group. This provides ongoing deal flow, continued learning, and connection to investors across past cohorts.
